With our mission being "Inspiring people with disabilities through meaningful recreation," Warren Special Recreation Association (WSRA) has coordinated recreational programs for individuals of all ages since 1981. We take pride in working with local schools and governmental agencies so the best services possible are provided. WSRA serves more than 175 individuals of all ages with disabilities in over 1000 recreation programs, special events, and trips annually. Our core staff are professionally trained in the provision of Therapeutic Recreation for people with disabilities. We also employ 75 part-time staff on an annual basis.
On the day after Thanksgiving, let's turn Black Friday into Track Friday, a day focused on charity, community, and health. Join us for Warren Special Recreation Association's annual fundraiser. Our main goal is to keep our programs affordable for those we serve. You can support our movement with a donation of any amount and walk or run as many laps as you like. If you cannot join us, feel free to walk or run wherever you are. Matching funds and tax deductible donations accepted.
Join us on November 23, 2018 at the Warren Township High School, Almond Campus Outdoor Track, Gurnee, IL from 11:00am - 1:00pm, opening ceremony at 11:00am.
