Track Friday is a play on Black Friday and is a day of community gathering with a focus on giving in the name of charity. The Cranford Jaycees are excited to be hosting this event for the 3rd year in a row!
Last year numerous charities successfully raised funds as part of our team. The Jaycees put a focus on the Hispanic Federation Inc. to help aid the hurricane victims in Puerto Rico and The OAS/HAS Middle Schools, Music Arts Program's, to help them purchase new instruments.
It is our hopes that we will increase awareness for even more charities than in previous years. In addition we would like to continue to develop a community consciousness that focuses on collectively raising funds for charitable causes, on a day that is normally known for commercialism, seeking deals, discounts and making a profit.
You can take part in Track Friday 2018 in two ways:
1a. You can donate to any of the charities that exist on the team leader board and/or ...
1b. You can bring awareness and support to your favorite charity, by clicking the, "Join This Team", button above and adding that charity to the leader board.
2. You can come down to the Ray White Track on Myrtle Avenue in Cranford, NJ to walk, run or just meet people from the local community who have come out in the spirit of charity and giving.
